A non-profit organization called Run For Their Lives are organizing its first 5K run/walk to raise funds for local crisis pregnancy centers, including our own Emergeny Pregnancy Services. St. Vincent's HealthCare is a major sponsor of this event.
The race will take place 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, beginning and ending at Hemming Plaza downtown. It is for runners and walkers.
We are looking for associates who want to walk, run, and raise funds for this cause. We are also looking for volunteers to help in the days leading up to the race and on race day.
