As a precaution against the spread of the H1N1 (swine-flu) virus, St. Vincent's HealthCare has modified normal patent visitation policies for St. Vincent's Medical Center, St. Luke's Hospital and St. Catherine Laboure Manor.
Effective immediately:
All children 5 years old and under will not be allowed to visit patient care areas, including patient rooms.
Anyone demonstrating flu-like symptoms will not be allowed visitation privileges
In order to visit a hospitalized patient who has a confirmed or suspected case of H1N1, all visitors must wear a surgical mask
These changes will remain in effect until otherwise modified by St. Vincent's HealthCare administration
